We have recently secured Welsh Government SMART Expertise funding to evaluate the health and wellbeing benefits of HUG by LAUGH®. This is being done in collaboration with the NHS, Sunrise Senior Living and Stroke Hub Wales.
The EMPOWERED project (Evaluation and Making: Playful Objects for Wellbeing, Emotional Regulation and Engagement for Dementia & Post-Stroke Cognitive Impairment) will evaluate the health and wellbeing benefits of hand-held playful products for people living with advanced dementia and post stroke cognitive impairment. HUG by LAUGH® and a range of new products will be developed as part of this Welsh Government SMART Expertise funded project.
