The LAUGH project was invited to participate in the Ageing Well in Wales Celebrating Communities (#AWW16 #CelebratingCommunities) event in Cardiff. This was a wonderful event that brought together so many people who are helping to improve the well-being of older people.
The LAUGH research was presented by Cathy at her keynote at the 1st MinD symposium at Europe House, London. The MinD research consortium are designing for people with dementia through mindful self-empowerment and social engagement. The symposium brought together researchers, designers and healthcare professionals involved in designing for people living with dementia to discuss current approaches. Cathy gave a keynote presentation about Play and dementia at the ‘Play in later life’ symposium. The symposium was held at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense on 2nd December 2016.
